Hiking tour with a view
The hiking tour over Schauenberg mountain to Turbenthal is the perfect activity after a hearty dish at the Obstgarten restaurant.
You may reach the restaurant within an hour from the starting point at Kollbrunn station. The highlight of this first stretch is the so-called
Tüfels Chilen. The former mine from the 19th century has been reconquered by nature. Water quietly splashes from four springs over moss-covered tuff steps. A magic spot.
After a refreshment at the
Obstgarten restaurant and a hiking time of one hour and 45 minutes, you may enjoy the panorama from Schauenberg mountain and discover the ruin. One last stretch of an hour through the Hunziker ravine and you will get to Turbenthal station.
