Heart Route.

The cycle route no. 99 - the so-called Heart Route - leads right through Switzerland on pleasurable low-traffic roads. On 700 kilometres and 12,000 meters difference in altitude, you can discover more than 20 historic centres from Lake Geneva to Lake Constance! The route covers thirteen trails from Lausanne – Romont – Laupen BE – Thun – Burgdorf – Willisau – Zug – Einsiedeln – Rapperswil – Wattwil – Herisau – Altstätten as far as Rorschach.

Along the Heart Route through the Zurich Oberland
Enjoy this stretch of the Heart Route from Rapperswil to Wattwil with impressive and unforgettable moments on your bike or e-bike. The route will lead you from Rapperswil via Bubikon – Dürnten – Hinwil – Wald – Fischenthal – Wald - Goldingen to Wattwil. Along the signposted cycle route no. 99 you will find exciting locations worth stopping and enjoying the diversity of the Zurich Oberland. In the midst of impressive scenery with idyllic lakes, charming towns with historical buildings enjoy the fantastic view of the Alps. E-bikes may be rented at every start and finish of a trail as well as at HRF Bike in Wald and the Gibswilerstube restaurant.
