Welcome to the Hirschen guesthouse with its 13 rooms and 24 beds. We offer six single rooms, two double rooms, three three-bedrooms and one family room (with five beds).
Restaurant
The food at the Hirschen restaurant reflects freshness, taste, simplicity and tradition. Every single dish on our menu is produced with care from seasonal and regional ingredients.
Banquet
The Hirschen hall offers room for up to 200 guests for banquets, 300 people for concerts and 350 people without seating. The hall can be divided into two rooms of different sizes and is equipped with professional technical installations.
History
Hirschen guesthouse looks back on almost 500 years of history. Today's main building was built around 1800. The hall followed in 1953, 17 years after the fire of the Bachtel hotel and spa house near Hinwil station, to which the 600-seat hall also fell victim. In 1998, the hall was supplemented by a circular foyer. Since 1978, the municipality of Hinwil has owned the Hirschen restaurant. In 2019, Heinz Rüegg took over the lease of the property.
