We are a small family-run business and have set up our cosy bistro with 30 seats at the freight shed of the former Uerikon-Bauma railroad line (UeBB).
The special atmosphere has a strong relation to the historic railway as Neuthal station is located at the main route of the steam train association Zurich Oberland (DVZO). More seating capacity at and in front of the ramp as well as in the snug garden invite to stay.
We like to spoil you with regional, seasonal, and organic products, prepared freshly every day as in the good old times. We only use pure Swiss spelt flour for our baking and cooking. Our specialities are stews, vegetarian, gluten-free, and dairy-free meals. Enjoy our selection of wines from Switzerland and Croatia and fresh juices.
The bistro-shed is close to the spinning mill museum at the industrial heritage trail, the bike trail, and the starting point of the Guyer-Zeller hiking trails; it is also a station for the steam train and the Zurich Oberland public transportation (line 850).
